it's beyond me why Ani companion is the only AI companion we know of for ios.

apple has been very hostile the smaller the developer, charging 100% a year for a developer liscense and forcing apps to pay 30% and more commission per micro transaction.
this means that a simple app like grok has no competitors and so it charges a wopping 30->300 USD per month.
the fact its a corporate AI also likely to mean censorship and enshitifications with time.
Musk usually releases this under 2 minute demos, and the final product has deal breaking fuck ups.
