I was born into poverty, things have only improved a tiny bit. The way I look at it, I atleast was lucky enough to be born in a country where I have access to the internet, and because of that I have access to many opportunities online to generate income and pull myself out of poverty.

What else of importance am I going to do with my free time anyways? (I don't have "a life").

You have no girlfriend to go on dates with
You have no friends to hang out with
Your family is likely distant and doesn't like you, so spending time with them is pointless

You have all of this free time and you have nothing important to do. Might as well spend some time trying to improve your life (with some hours in-between for entertainment).



If your circumstances are so comfortable that you don't feel a sense of urgency to try and escape from it, and you don't see a point in working towards escaping from it, then those circumstances aren't so bad and you are really just complaining for no reason.

thing is , wealth does not and has never really intrigued me. don't get me wrong, if I managed to aquire wealth easily I would take it with a heartbeat, it's just the work/reward ratio that repulses me you are right that my living conditions are pretty comfortable, since I live with my parents still, and there is no urgency to improve

but how did the argument get to the point of money and living conditions? it was about escortcelling and sex. sex is a natural thing that occurs to any people, poor or rich. you are not supposed to work hard for decades to get it, many generations have had sex and reproduced no matter how hard they worked or how much success they achieved in life. then I see all the people my age, whom I worked harder than, they were lazier than me. they had to put no effort and aquire no wealth to get sex with prime girls in their prime years. so how am I just supposed to suck it up and not complain? keep providing for the system with the cope of "maybe one day you will get to experience fraction of what your peers did without putting in any work". this is an injustice and I will complain about it.
