Oregon scraps math, English high school graduation requirements

The state of Oregon has suspended its requirement that high school students demonstrate a proficiency in math, writing and reading in order to receive a diploma.

Last year here where I live they let everyone graduate without taking the required final exams (equivalent to German "Abitur"). This year they made it dead easy as well, giving high schoolers the opportunity to do extra resits. A friend of mine had to redo 1 year of HS because he scored 0.1 points lower on these exams than what was required.

Just realize this boyos: these will be your future leaders, engineers, medical doctors, pharmacists etc. Can't even pass basic HS maths, reading and writing JFL
