I don't know why but I was for some reason feeling good about myself the other day. I saw this girl from my class in university from my frosh after my soccer practice. I chat her up a bit and she tells me that she strolls around the area near the field every now and then. I kinda liked her a bit since frosh so I decided to just go for it and get her number. Somehow it actually worked! We even decided to meet again at the same place in a week's time and go get a drink or something. At this point I was entirely over the roof. I finally had a bit of hope in my life, thinking my ascension was imminent. Next week comes and I sit around the spot where we met. 10 mins pass and I text her asking where the hell she was. She tells me that she's just casually having lunch with her friends even though she knew she was supposed to see me at that spot. At that point reality hit me like a ton of bricks. I guess I can't escape you guys; you are here forever in my life. FUCK!
