Whenever I look up anything the first result is always reddit threads. Even if they're completely unrelated to what I looked up, I have to scroll past five or six reddit threads. In comparison, when I use Yandex I almost always find what I'm looking for immediately. My theory is that Google is more likely to suggest reddit threads because Google is pushing Reddit to be more popular because reddit is highly left leaning.
Despite Twatter, Facebook and Instagram all being more popular and active, they push reddit because they want people to believe progressivism is most popular.
Unfortunately, this has made chrome completely useless for finding answers to anything. Even their AI is trained off reddit so oftentimes it'll be blatantly wrong.
