I'm 29 here, still a virgin, and I'm in no rush at all. My first goal is to better myself and stay away from porn since it gives everyone false expectations of what sex is like, and I believe it.

I’m in the same boat haven’t been on a date since 2013, but I’m here trying get out of the constant cycle of shame and mindless fapping on cam sites. I too am very confused about dating today, how it all works and how some men seem to effortlessly bounce from girl to girl and date to date.
All the PUA stuff seems like a sales tactic to me and I’m not wasting my money on them, I have no desire to walk up to random women in the street and throw pickup lines at them.
But both sides of the coin has pain associated with it, the pain of hiding away in a fog of internet and porn addiction. Or the pain of accepting that this how things work and just trying to make the best of our lives.
I too woke up yesterday with your mindset saying “ what’s with all this bullshit that people say about not focusing on women and you will not be lonely “ or “ women shouldn’t be the thing in your life controls your happiness”.
But in reality it’s what we have all been chasing through porn, filling the void etc. I guess the end goal is too be our best version of ourselves, I never want to experience sexual performance issues again so I’m here trying my best to fix it, even though my brain constantly screams at me, telling me how much of a loser I am etc, and unfortunately how I have been treated by women in the past is a big reason as too seeing myself this way.
But each day when I fight the urges and work myself, I slowly start to feel a little better.
Just try to keep going and put some of that frustration into working on your own goals.
