On one hand it feels a lot better to be outside than inside when the weather permits. But on the other hand the psychological agony is so much worse.

You see first hand that there is a beautiful, wide world out there, existing without you while you suffer. It’s full of other people living their amazing lives without a care in the world. You will always be alone, no one to share the beauty of the world with.

So much to learn, so much to explore, so many places to see, people to meet, etc. Yet you know you will not get to experience any of it.

I’ve hardly ever even travelled outside of my home town :feelscry:.

It's more bitter than sweet to me. Even with no people around.

Why is the green of nature in spring so pleasant to look at?
Because just like most other animals, we are wired to get our moods up in response to nature springing to life. It's time to breed.

The realisation that I'm outside of this cycle of life is depressing. Nature provides, but not for me.
