Gnosticism is the ultimate belief for incels

Only a very cruel evil god (demiurge)could possibly create this world, and he revels in the suffering of humans. If life after death is true, its very possible the earth is just a trap where people are forced to reincarnate endlessly to feed suffering to the demiurge - I mean there is literally no other explanation for how fucked up the world is.

if god is so impotent that he can't deal with a demiurge then i have no idea how you can cling to gnosticism cope. never understood gnostics(a heresy that never dies out too).this world is hell,but if you want demons then all you have to do is look outside.

not that the devil himself isn't as scary as this demiurge,but that's different.

I'm fond of Carl Jung's analysis on Gnosticism.

Incidentally, I'm not sure I'm ready to accept the proposition that God is this evil entity that has created us to suffer endlessly without remorse; though, in all honesty, His reasons for everything that's been going on are certainly beyond my comprehension, and thus obscure. I guess we'll find out his motivations sooner or later when we die. But then, we can also never know.

Yeah it makes sense. My cope though is to believe that Siddhartha Gautama was right and that there is an exit from this plain of suffering. There is no way a benevolent God would create a world like this, its just a meat grinder for living things
