I think people here are overestimating glasses' effect on your appearance. If you look like shit you'll look like shit with or without glasses. Don't tell me prime Chicho would turn into a sub5 if he had a pair of glasses

It's not a death sentence but having to wear glasses is definitely a major indicator of low genetic quality, especially if you started wearing them at a young age

No, but the optometrist told me the process of cleaning, how to put them on etc. and I decided to wear glasses even though it makes me look worse. I don't want to deal with all the bullshit of contacts, but if it works for you it's ok.
I don't know how contacts work, it's very uncomfortable?
I know, I also have to change glasses like every 4-5 years because of the scratches. If you have money and your vision is not that terrible then consider LASIK.

I don't have personal experience with them, but the optometrist once told me how to use them and it seems very tedious. Glasses are easier to use and clean.
