Why incel is depressed? Because he was bullied by his peers. Because he was rejected by girls. Because of negative reinforcement. How this person supposed to not be depressed and not have low self esteem? Therapy? Therapy will make you ignore/forget your problems. Therapu will not make problem disappear.
But, if incel find a girlfriend he will change. By having girlfriend, by being hugged by her, by having sex with her, incel will finally feel accepted, loved and not a worthless human being.

If someone was normally treated by society (was not bullied, had normal relationship with opposite gender etc) this person doesn't need girlfriend/boyfriend to feel being loved and accepted, because this person already experienced love and acceptance by society.
