He’s materially better off, my point was that the kid working in the Colbalt mine is richer than the kid who aren’t. The Colbalt mine owner is materially benefitting the kid by employing him in the mine.

In the case of slavery, that’s very different to what I’m talking about. I’m talking about the wealthy in a free market society, they only get richer by making others richer. You only get rich by creating value and interacting with others in a Consensual way
