Why is it that i always have to get sick on my days off ? It could have been a somewhat enjoyable saturday but no, i just had to catch a cold today and not during working days. Im completely knocked out and i have throat pain, i keep sneezing all the time and have no energy to do anything

I’ve had this happen to a lot, the only time I fell sick this year was 2 weeks during my one and only vacation

2 weeks during my one and only vacation

I see, so you are just like me cartoonishly unlucky. Its so common for me to get sick on weekends or vacation

Good idea, plus doctors always give you a few more extra days free which is very nice

Ikr, I talked to it with a doctor and there’s a chance it happens during those moments bc it’s the only time your body and can relax and decompress, when you’ve been in a stressful period for a long time and you get out of it. There’s a much bigger chance for you to get sick

Not sure about that theory, i dont think viruses care whether you are working or not

Decompression after stress does causes your immune system gets a bit weaker for some reason, I think it was called the let-down effect or something
