Mara Jade was pretty hawt. It's a shame they cut her along with the rest of the Expanded Universe. Perhaps it was for the best for her to be spared from Disney's grip.

As a casual fan of the George Lucas-era movies, I am hopelessly lost at this point with Star Wars. I can’t keep up with the new stuff, Star Wars is as confusing as “One Piece” to me now.
Yeah, that's understandable, as I haven't seen anything Star Wars related since Obi-Wan. I have zero interest in consuming anything related to the series anymore, it's dead to me.
Luke SywalkER did not need a wife, Star Wars has become so soy I have lost interest in all the post-George Lucas content.

I disagree; Mara is a good character. And it's not like George Lucas was perfect with Return of the Jedi and the silly Ewoks and disastrous prequels.

I see. Makes sense. I wouldn't be surprised if they remade Star Wars with Luke becoming a female or some other nonsense. Maybe Darth Vader is actually a woman as his mother.
