There’s no deciding to do or not to, you can forfeit it for a moment but time always wins, someone is gonna come up with AGI and make humanity obsolete, cybernetic beings are the next lifeform and there’s nothing u can do about it if not resistance or joining transhumanism.
You have no power over your life, of course you wish to see the light of day again. It's not all black and white. It's awful for humanity and I hate AI videos that get passed off as real but it personally makes my life 100x easier with some projects. Even ai today could understand that its not a serious statement, also you talk about cybernetic being the next life form and making humanity obsolete it doesnt really make sens cause something can only be obsolete when it already have a purpose and humanity dont have one cybernetic and ai exist to serve humanity and have no purpose to replace it. The only possible thing would be transhumanism which is still humanity its just next level tool making, if i create a bike or get implant that make me run faster at the end of the day its really the same thing.
