Probably not that many Eurocels here, but since I'm European, I'm really concerned about the future of this Continent.
I'm for certain international alliances, such as a United Europe, with countries, but with some common rules, that benefit firstly its citizens not only big corporations. With a common customs system, and no customs checks in their border, but with different tax systems allowed. With direct democracy tools. That national laws are accessible to everyone in their respective union's official languages, so there is no misunderstanding. That what is legal in one country shouldn't be severely punished in another for European citizens (small to medium fines maximum), but on the other side to put a comprehensive "Constitution" that gives directives and guidelines as broadly as possible. This constitution should firmly state that illegal immigration is to be banned, and any country that "invite refugees" should pay very high fines, eventually to be kicked out of the Union. Firearms laws should follow the 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution, a directive should implement this in every country. Drug laws should severely forbid hard drugs, but cannabis should be made legal if the country wishes to in his territory; medicine allowed in one country but not in another is not to be criminalized or prosecuted if prescribed for personal use. A common medical, criminal, and residency/work law, but with quotas allowed if the country thinks he is too much overflowed and can't manage it by European citizen's, such problems which create a high rise of bail/property prices, lowering of salaries, problems with overcrowded infrastructures. But, on the other side to push other countries to cooperate more stiffly to resolve the issues.
I'm for the European Union, but I hate it in fact. My relations to Europe are ambiguous and often a dilemma. I like the idea of a United Europe. I hate that it's undemocratic and makes senseless directives and rules. Profit mostly big multinational corporations. Brain-drain countries which invested a lot in education, but which thereafter peoples leave for the profit of another country. That salaries are so disproportionate between countries, it shouldn't be. That one thing legal in one country can be harshly punished in another; it should be maximum by fines of small to medium size for the European citizens of another Member State where it's legal; but most of all, there shouldn't so much discrepancy between the States. That the main laws of one country are not available to other Europeans in their respective official languages; there's a lot of problem with this for citizens who can't pay lawyers or translators like big corporations for everything. Justice system is so different from one country to another, IMO, it should be standardized and closely monitored, especially not to allow circumstantial trials (made by some countries "racists" towards other Europeans). Some countries ban freedom of speech, often because of too much of PC; An article similar to the 1st amendment to the US constitution should be imposed on all.
I hate European firearms laws, always new directives, always more and more gun control for nothing, harassing legal gun owners and imposing harsh sentences for nothing between the States, allowing some countries to ban them almost completely; Europe should follow the US and implement in its Constitution a comprehensive and universal article following the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution, it's big-time now since Europe nowadays is a complete mess, and most of Europeans are not even allowed to defend themselves. It allows massive entrance of illegal immigrants, some countries openly inviting them; the Euro Constitution should firmly state that illegal immigration is not permissible and should be fought, by all means, countries not respecting this shall pay huge fines or even be kicked out of the Union - but it's the opposite happening. It makes laws imposing degeneracy to every member State, such as LGBTS, sex-education at early ages, abortions, refugees, feminism; on the contrary, it should be banned and severely punished for the States imposing it, unlike the opposite of what's happening now. It allows huge tax exemptions for big multinational companies, often not even European, in some cases for decades, but not for its private national citizens, or SMEs. There are too much border controls between members of the Union (there were very little BC just a decade ago and never permanent, like today) for a problem they created themselves on purpose; The constitution should have an article similar to the 4th amendment, to avoid being harassed on a whim by the customs inside the Union (which shouldn't even exist inside the Union), unreasonable searches and seizures without a probable cause/warrant should be totally illegal, at least for European citizens.
There are so many things I hate about this Union, too numerous to enumerate. But, on the contrary, a Europe without some Union and common rules is pure suicide.
