This man here is Dean Arnold Corll, he is an american serial killer who raped, tortured and murdered teenage boys and young men between 1970 to 1973.
He amassed an impressive score of 28+ until he was murdered by an accomplice of his, Elmer Wayne Henley.
Dean is sometimes known as either the pied piper or the candy man, due to his family owning a candy factory and Dean often giving away candy to local children.
The exact number of his victims is not known, but 28 have been confirmed.
There are a few unidentified victims and possible victims that you can look up yourself.
But this one is partially notable to me because the victim remains unidentified to this day and there is a photo showing this victim.
This is it:
A Polaroid image depicting an unknown victim of Corll.
This image was taken in 1972 or 1973.
It was image was found in a box containing Henley's personal processions that was stored by his family since his arrest in 1973.
The image shows a blond teenage boy in handcuffs, strapped to a device on Corll's floor, alongside a toolbox containing various instruments Corll used to torture his victims.
The boy in the image has been ruled out by the Harris County Medical Examiner as being any of Corll's known victims, including his one remaining known unidentified victim.
Henley himself has stated that the picture must have been taken after he had acquired a Polaroid camera in 1972—although he is adamant that he has no idea who this boy is.
Given that Henley became acquainted with Corll in 1972, it is likely this boy would have been killed in 1972 or 1973.
This boy to this day remains unidentified.
