So for context, Ive been getting into 2 stalker game until Stalker 2 is availble(please run on my steam deck I pray in the name of Eugene Stoner) but until then. I'm fucking pissed! STALKER is what fallout could have been if they got rid of the 50s bullshit and fag shit. (I make a exception for new vegas that games actually good,not great)

Lets talk realism. STALKER uses real guns, and more realistic technoligy then fallouts fucking bloated ass
I-watch with the "combat rifle" that looks like it was moddeled off of a fucking BB gun from the 50s. No normal guns its gonna be either science fucking fiction or some LSD design.

Next up mechaics. In fallout or I should say fallout 4 you get the dailly dose of bullet sponges. "Legendary enemies". Some enemys take 1000 literall bullets to kill so good luck playing in stealth mode. Oh yeah the stealth is shit in fallout 4. STALKER at least had the excuse of being way older then fallout 4 and actually plays better if you can sneack. Just know to never aim your sights and dont shoot to far from your target(STALKERS mechanics are a bjt brocken).

Story/setting. Fallout is just skyrims story but put into 1950. STALKER at leasts has somthing that may be a little over the top but isnt "chad avenging his wife and rescuing son" bullshit. STALKER you are on a quest to find and kill Strelock wile adventering out into the zone. Giving actually places worth exploring is way more immersivr then well. What ever fallout 4 has for you to explore. Oh look some whack ass looking shit. Oh look another vault what experiment did they plagerize from the nazi concentration camps now?

Gun fights in fallout is basicly bullet sponge bullshit. Hell the only way I enjoy the game is with mods. Ill admit I like how infallout I can have a mod of my personal handgun in the game though I wish I could also have my personal silencer (Aries by tacsol) instead of the obsidian 22 for the mod. STALKER may be more fun with mods but I dont really need it to have a better time as the base game over modded fallout 4.

Morral of the story. If you want to make a apocalyptic game. Make it with realism and gritty-ness instead of goofy fag shit. STALKER isnt even post apocalyptic and it feels way more like one then fallout 4. And in a way STALKER makes Metro series a great next door neighbor to the series with even lore crossing over. Granted I dont think STALKER 2 will take place aftet nuclear war. Who knows. But if you guys have a pc or ps4. Do play the seriese I only bothered with the 1st and 3rd game. IDK why but I remember somthing detering me from touching clear sky. And before I go.

Default Stalker gunplay is pretty shit, enemies have unlimited ammo, and are cucked by hidden headshot dmg meter that caps your dmg if you shoot too often, plus they often going to see you from far away even at night (aimbot vision without night vision). After editing few lines of code you can make it much better and fix the issue of headshots not doing enough dmg. Fallout gameplay was always atrocious from the first games so no shit that new games also have dogshit gameplay.

They also seem to love when their games gets unoptimized, tarkov stutters and hogs a lot of ram for no reason, gamma runs like total ass till you remove grass shadows, and now stalker 2 will be the worst optimized game of all times dethroning unpatched Arham Knight, GTA IV and Wukang but they have a strong contender DD2 and MH Wilds so we will see if they could defeat masterminds of Crapcom.
