No matter what you learn, you're still at the mercy of the App Store's ranking algorithm. It's not meritocratic, it depends on human editors to push your app or it will sink into obscurity.

Also, why not Flutter or Ionic or something like that? You'd be a fool to leave half the money on the table by not developing for Android as well as iOS. With a cross platform framework you'll have only one app and code base to maintain.

I know android very well, now I need to study ios and swift,
which would make learning the kotlin PL simpler.

If you're concerned about that you also have Xamarin and React Native and Ionic. It's not too much trouble to learn two platforms but having to maintain two of each app is a bitch that gets worse the more apps you make.

documentation.

what little documentation they do have, after following it step by step and it still doesn't work.

you cant even programmatically change the apps background.

they have this loser coder james montemagno in charge of that shit and he gives 0 fucks about the actual developers,
shit only works on his machine.
