Jews didn't invent the word pedophile but I believe because their dick-sucking rituals they've done to babies for a thousand years are associated with the original meaning (homosexual men molesting pre-pubescent males) that they were responsibly for trying to widen the umbrella of the definition (including heterosexual men courting young women in late adolescence) to try and shift focus away from their own activities by villifying a much more common aspect of culture which was not inherently harmful in the way theirs was.
