Theory Forming a community consensus on the height problem

Since I joined this site seeing users obsession with height over time has absolutely fascinated me.

Probably because despite my silly ass kiddish jokey demeanor, I’m actually an ancient Gen X’er, compared to most of you who are very young and youthful zoomers and millennials that probably make up most of our userbase these days.

Part of the fascination I suppose is that I personally witnessed as a teenager in high school and at related dances and whatnot the short guys now classified as manlets in current year 2022 had absolutely no problem pulling women and in many cases were generally swarmed by them.

Yet according to so many of you whose uhhh “time to shine” in the dating market of the now assure myself and everyone else who is willing to listen that in 2022’s world being short is a death sentence so far as ever hoping to have any relationship with a woman serious or otherwise goes.

During my time to ahem “ascend” meaning in my own teen years no girl ever rejected me giving reasons of lack of height of which I was and still am 5ft10 and three quarters.

So I just figured it was being a fat fuck that did it but after going on a massive diet and exercise campaign and dropping my weight at that time in an attempt to become a svelte and suave Chad I was still not sought after so I then chalked up my incel status to hopelessly average facial appearance.

Anyway many users have told me or just posted their beliefs or findings that 5ft10 is manlet tier in today’s world but as the title of the topic would have it I’m actually looking to you guys ie our community of inkwells to post your own personal beliefs and or theories of the height ranges that would in 2022 current year qualify someone as a Normie, a Chad or a Manlet?

I suppose in the 90’s which was my era shortness was in.

Meaning it was likely seen as cool by the women back then because you had all these famous short rappers and entertainers around back then from rappers Easy E, Skeelo and Joe C (Kid Rock’s sidekick and friend) and you had Vern Troyer as Mini Me in the Austin Powers movies and there was MTV’s Real World a season of which featured a short guy named Joe who women couldn’t get enough of and whenever they were asked the reason for their attraction they’d say he was so cute but also looked so vulnerable like he needed someone to mother him and love him etc, etc.

I think the main difference with the world you grew up in OP and present time is that back then women didn’t have the luxury of picking and choosing those who had the privilege of becoming a part of their surroundings.

Back then people actually had to work with a limited pool of choice regarding partners, friends and family, and had to “make the best out of it”. Nowadays, women don’t have to put up with anyone that has any traits they even remotely dislike, because they can pick and choose their community from anyone who’s online and within driving distance (and even beyond).

This in turn affects the dating scene as it becomes a reflection of women’s newfound freedom to enforce their true standards, and yes, height has become an element of said standards. In their minds, why put up with a short dude when a tall one is right around the corner? I’m just observing that in my era shortness at least appeared to be irrelevant as far as it being a dysqualifier for women’s mate selection goes.

I believe you guys that it’s vastly different in todays world and that now height matters a hell of a lot.
