Been tryna drag myself out of this hole for quite some time now, have come to accept that I’m not some hideous looking freak, just a bit below avg so have no “kerb appeal” hence haven’t ever been able to get anything through the apps. So want try meet women irl platonically/romantically (gf is the goal but friends would be better than nothing), but I’m genuinely so stumped as to where to find women?

I have hobbies that I’m very passionate about and have been able to make a friend through, but women simply don’t engage in my hobby (not being sexist, I’ve been to a conference that was literally only men). I also work in engineering, so obviously there aren’t any women, so work isn’t an option.

I’m a bit stumped as what to do now, I live in a semi rural area(10k people), with an older population (I’m 25) so have looked online and can’t find any meet-up groups that look “age appropriate” and I don’t want to fake having a hobby just to find women. Because that would be a very poor foundation to start a friendship or relationship from.

Just to add to the troubles I (like literally every incel ever) am autistic, so although I have/had friends the vast majority of neurotypical people don’t massively like me.

Open to suggestions, sorry if formatted weirdly have lurked extensively, this is just first question I’ve not been able to research my way around

There is a comment where a foid says the reason women aren't into those hobbies is because men gatekeep them. LMFAOO.

I don't get this cope that IRL is better than dating apps. Dating apps ARE real life except foids don't have to virtue signal on them, if they don't like your face, they swipe left. You know what's the absolute worst part of this? Im in college for engineering and the most ogre looking foids have at least 5 guys orbiting them at all times. Im talking doing their assignments, helping them study for exams etc. And when a foid fucks up they do the oopsie slutty response and try to act cute so the professor looks past their incompetence (I've seen this actually happen a lot, and I thought I was imagining things). And it works. 10/10 times.
The STEM is drooling, begging and bending backwards to foids. It's filled with virgin simp nerd normies. I'm telling you the most bluepilled cucks from my college aren't aren't even denying it they just say "it is what it is, nothing you can do about it". If you ask me, the easiest field for a foid to be im is STEM.
Reading the comments as an MechE student feels like I'm going insane.
 
Almost all hobbies are male dominated. They are setting him up for failure.

I think irl may be better because the gender ratio may be better, so you don’t have to compete with as many guys at the same time.

Some men will need only a handful of experiences to understand the blackpill. But most will go through it their entire life and still wouldn't understand.

He strikes me as a man who is just hungry and desperate for attention, why join an incel exit group in the first place? Because he knows there will be females to interact with, in hopes they can take pity on him and try to help him out of inceldom.

I can't speak from experience as I'm graduating this year, but everything I've said here is not only noticed by me it's also noticed by every random student so it's not my delusion. So I would be extremely surprised if it was not even easier for women to find a job, considering companies push for diversity, and it's better having women represent your work force.
