Major key for money maxxers is to focus on work that can be quantified and displayed. Also bullshitted about. It is why I personally now write everything I did at the end of a week and then at the end of a month or significant project end. You can then take out the key insights and use them to bullshit in future interviews.

Also sometimes this means using a more complicated technology just for being able to be talk about it later. Even if a simpler technology would have worked better. Also break up big parts into small chinks. Lots of people fail to do this and as such can't show their work or have no idea how to say what they did and how they got to the end. Which is big failo.

Also major key is to pass non visual/quantifiable shitter work to people below you or to your co-workers, ofc this isn't always possible. But it is definitely possible sometimes. And you should do it when you can. Never over do it because people will notice though ofc.

I also say exaggerate deadlines and other stuff. And use that time to grind interview bullshit whenever you can. Never stick to a job now than 2-3 years as junior or mid level. Only at senior you might need slow down for 4-5 years. But even then you could likely hop if you aren't getting paid enough. and you should hop. Always be working towards the next hop
