You probably don't need to worry about it, but if you want to clean up your shit.

1) Run BleachBit with all or most options ticked
2) Run Eraser with 7 Passes on unused disk space

This should permanently remove anything stored in cache/cookies and anything else you could think of and make it unrecoverable.

I did the same thing. It’ll only be a problem if ur some drug dealer and ur phone gets seized or something I think. Or maybe if u wanted ur phone repaired and the tech guy went thru everything in ur deep history or whatever idk about this stuff.

Imo they wouldn't do that, but not impossible.

I don't know if you need such a thing, but if your browser displayed the images and you want to be absolutely safe, better download DBAN on your machine, boot it on a USB key and erase everything that you have with it (Gutmann Wipe is enough) to clean the drive on which your web browser keeps temporary files.

Not joking though, if one day your computer gets seized for some reason other than CP, and they decide to run COFEE or any other forensic tool software they may find that your computer stored these images and use it as a reason to arrest you.

If you haven't gotten to the 7 passes part yet be prepared to wait a long time. That's what makes it unrecoverable though, you could do it over night if you want to.

Already heard about Eraser.
Considering how little time it takes to clean the parts of the disk, I'd be hesitant to trust it.
DBAN is safer in my opinion, it cleans everything from top to bottom even if for a low-end 1TB disk it takes a whole day. The disadvantage is that it deletes the whole disk content and if you put your browser on c:/ it means that you will have to reinstall the OS afterwards, it is really a pain in the ass

True though, since the temp files are usually stored on the c:/ SSD drive it's no use then. Yeah didn't think about it.

I didn't see it but you are probably overreacting. Afaik most viruses are spread through exploits in scripts, not images or texts, especially since the image has to be processed and uploaded to a server he has no control over beforehand. You probably do not have any but sure no harm if you are paranoid. You can also always use linux to be safer.
