Yeah, and know who Linus Torvalds is, but Richard Stallman is not famous. Probably because he made things in the 80s, it was 30 or 40 years ago, it is too distant past to be known.
He also called out Epstein's "victims" as the willing participants that they were. He said that it's not rape.
A total fuckass lib hippie with a mindless sheep cult following BUT he always had a very strong point, problem is he always used it to get leverage or moral leverage and overused it till he made an adversary of himself and his groupies to almost everyone.
Stallman's point was simple: free software = absolute transperency
HOWEVER free software DOES NOT ALWAYS equal to security and privacy as he or his followers always echo "because everyone can work on it bro!" if I wanted to argue and explain why this fuckass logic doesn't work I would write a book.
For you and me this just eventually means nothing more than the fact that transparent software = unconditional trust between user and releaser, while non-transparent one will always be held with less trust than the fully transparent one because there is a hidden code which is not necessarily known what it can do (can even compromise the machine like intel management engine, where it actually turned out ot be le bad :'o )
So from stallman and his groupies perspective: even open source or anything else that sells is fucking bullshit because even if it shows some code, it still isn't obliged to show everything to the user and one thing or two (modifications to the op code) will pass under the user's rug.
Stallman is a fucking soycuck because not only he's wrong about a lot of things mentioned earlier, or because he's a libtard socialist asshole with unreleastic utopian views and exceptionally good lawyers, or because he rose on the back of college students who worked free for him, but mainly because he tries to advertise this fuckass lifestyle of his as being morally superior while never attempting to work on achieving it for everyone when he had the chance in the previous era, like dude you're fucking late by two to three decades for this bullshit activism, you could've easily denied companies to benefit from free software to the far measures of not allowing them to run non "free" components alongside it or with it, you have no right to bullshit or shove your opinion in anyone's throat now.
He thought some bluepilled shit like "forcing something is the opposite of free and freedom matters more than everything!" would eventually succeed to achieve what he wanted. which is, was and always will be classic leftie bullshit mentality that doesn't work irl.
