Modern society thinks it's okay to make someone's life miserable to the point of them killing themselves, but it's absolutely not ok to actually kill someone, even if the person has actually caused you more suffering through all of your lives than you'll cause them by just killing them.
This has to do with the feminization of our societies IMO, doing evil things in a passive aggressive, manipulative, treacherous way, like females tend to do, is perfectly okay, but doing evil things in a straightforward manly way is not.

For a long time I've thought that official suicide numbers are only the tip of the iceberg of what is turning into a massive suicide epidemic. Many suicide attempts are never registered or documented anywhere because the people who get to that point have no close friends so no one ever finds out and gets them checked into a hospital. A suicidal person can take a bunch of pills hoping to die in his sleep, wake up and go to work the next day, and no one will ever know... or he can drink himself to death (or use hard drugs, or adopt some other self destructive behavior) and his death will not be catalogued as suicide even though it might as well be. There are so many people suffering and we can't see it.

Imagine you are ghosted by your oneitis and you find out she started dating someone else. You are on the brink of suicide, but then you see on the news that Alek Minassian did his van attack in the name of incels. Wouldn't that give you hope, and reassure you that society is changing, and maybe make you reconsider suicide?

If anything, the toronto van has given rise to more relentless bullying of incels by normoids. The suicide rate of incels will increase because of this, if anything.

When this quest for ego and sex goes wrong, depression naturally ensues. To know this on a fundamental way, you probably need to be a man yourself. That may explain why so many female therapists completely miss the importance of inceldom in triggering male depression. In women inceldom seems both less frequent and more easily tolerated, at least in young age.
