I beat up an Gypsy kid once for stealing my seat at the lunch table and broke his nose. Didn't do anything to get me foids.

You have to back it up with the ability to fight and handle the challenge of normie men.
Acting tough means you accept being challenged by other normie men and you have to be prepared to show what you got.

If you aren't ready to fist fight or get killed via a knife/gun for standing up for yourself when you are challenged by other normie men who will mog you in aggression and violence your better off keeping your head low and doing your best to stay out of the way.

Being taken seriously when acting tough relies on how masculine you appear. If you look weak and have a non-masculine face , it's going to be hard to be seen as a threat. However if you do look like a threat , even then again you have to back it up.
It's a bad idea to chase a lifestyle where you try to mog other normie men in aggression since there's always a bigger fish.

Many men have lost their lives in extremely violent manners over a petty argument that erupts due to trying to prove themselves to be tougher.

No one is stopping you but you'll make yourself a bigger target.

Just avoid normies as much as possible. Don't bother impressing foids. Its dangerous being around foids and normie men.
I learnt that lesson too late. I tried to mix in with normies by being friendly or even trying to act 'tough.' Truth is that they just see you as a joke as painful as it is to admit. It doesn't work. If it didn't work last time , it probably won't work this time.

Socializing and attracting foids is a whole deferent realm of problems. Effort doesn't count , its not like a video game or a life skill you can learn. Its all about your face.
