I saw a video a while ago where a polar bear had quite literally flayed a seal. Eaten off all its skin, and the damn thing was still alive and struggling. After eating its skin, then that’s when it started to eat its fatty meat.

For a human, you could have your face completely ripped off and jaw broken, unable to scream, unable to cry. All you feel is constant pain. The bear won’t kill you because it doesn’t need to, you’ll be slowly eaten, the pain increasing by the second.
