The patriarchy (which restricted women’s ability to work or own property), kept a certain social balance between the sexes, as men were dependant on women for sex and reproduction while women were dependant on men for resources/survival.

Getting rid of the patriarchy and replacing it with feminism (which enabled women to work/own property), stripped men of the leverage they once held which had previously allowed them to gain access to sex/reproduction in the past, women could now be “independant” (seeing as though women themselves make an average salary, they no longer had any need for an average looking man with average salary, putting them in a position where they only chase attractive and/or wealthy men while vast majority of men get little to no sex).
