I don't necessarily disagree with your comment, but it makes me think: If circumcision is so harmful, why would Jews do it to themselves?

And it is hard to believe that they would impose circumcision on gentiles out of malice, since that would be implicit disbelief in their religion.

Furthermore, they seem to prefer to be secretive and keep their practices to themselves.

Circumcision in the Old Testament was what baptism is in the New Testament. The purpose of circumcision was to set the OT church apart from the rest of the world. The purpose of this practice was fulfilled and anyone returning to it, is by definition rejecting NT. For jews that is obvious, but for Christians who do this they are quite literally falling into the first condemned heresy which is judaizing.
