I saw a recent thread of @Grodd mentioning how low a woman perception of right and wrong can get when looks are involved.
So this is what happened to me yesterday:
I work in the airport, Im basically a departure handling agent, and airlines require the services of the handler company to manage people for them. I was at a transit desk and two presumably indian men (passport confirmed) had lost their connecting flight. Basically they were coming from a delayed one, but the transit time they had was above the minimum required, so no new tickets for them.
I still feel compassionate for other people despite it all, and I wanted to recover their booking (atp they were begging me to do so cause they had no money). I have the tools but I need to get authorization from above. I called my local supervisor in turn, a man, always cool and fair in his duty, but he had to bring the airline staff, a women.
This “person” didn’t think twice.
Saw them, while I was asking to help them with a new flight for the next day, the debut was:
“Why should we? Send them to the counter outside.”
She then got away. Didn’t even look at those dudes, they were basically manlets and brown, sub5, u could have said everything about them. Women cannot be in charge, cause they luck understanding, they cannot have it by nature.
This two even booked a business class ticket, cause it was the only option for that particular trip. I spoke to them, trying to find solutions, their english was bad but I intrinsically cannot see other human beings less than what I am. I can get racist at times but when confronted I really struggle on denying help or assistance.
Took them to the ticket counter, turns out they might had a possibility for rerouting their ticket to the next day by calling the call center, but nothing could be done without the airline consent.
I feel sorry for them.
Our world is wrong, we don’t deserve shit.
