I was probably five meters behind her so I picked up her phone and called out “you dropped your phone”.

She turned around to look at me and looked genuinely frightened for a few seconds- her reaction was similar to someone who had just witnessed a jump scare in a movie.

When I gave her phone back she still had a hesitant look on her face and took her phone without even thanking me.
