I don't even understand what the point was. Even if she were somehow successful she:

- Wouldn't be able to continue making money on her blog
- Wouldn't be able to continue to use her drivers license
- Wouldn't be able to get on a plane
- Would lose access to her bank accounts and never be able to own one again
- Wouldn't be allowed to own property
- Wouldn't be allowed to do many other things that require an SSN (which they have in germany, its called a sozialversicherungsnummer apparently)

All for the rest of her life. Even dumber if she thought she would be able to successfully steal her victim's identity, use it for the rest of her life, and somehow not get caught.
