That's what retarded about this case. The news reports all say "drain cleaner" but when you read it it was actually industrial strength lye - you know the stuff serial killers use to dissolve bodies in movies. I googled to find another case of a lye attack and found a man who threw lye at his ex-gf and got a 30-70 year sentence - and in that case she became disfigured but didn't die. It's a crazy she didn't get at least a decade for what she must've known would AT LEAST permanently disfigure him.
