Weight is something you control, looks aren't. Ugly, for a female, = fat. This isn't complicated, but they talk around the facts and hypocrisies.

Also, men are not valued for, or defined by, their looks. Biologically. Women aren't supposed to value men for their looks, men are. Again, this is simple stuff.
