When she still didn't stop lusting after him, Chad had enough and killed her.

This was in 1982. Nobody even knew who killed her until 2011. Chad had to face trial and got called guilty for murder, but he still didn't have to go to Jail or face any repercussions because it has been such a long time since the murder happened. JFL.
