So firstly, the fact she let political values influence her relationship is quite telling. The guy wasn't some "extremist" -though I argue those with mainstream views are unironically the mental ill ones- and in fact seemed to be more "moderate" than many "conservatives" I have known throughout the years both online & irl. Clearly, this shows she just wishes to show her boyfriend that her(reflected through her views) are merely all that matter; reflecting her desire for control.

I also love the fact how she seemed to value this in the relationship more than he did; as he himself said he seems to not let it impact his life much & more so bases his worldview around that of his own experiences which explains his "- I'm socially liberal but economically conservative!" take.

The fact she also seemingly tried to undermine his friends as a valid network for him to build his worldview upon, but then also had her own friends say "- OMG he's from Indiana he's totally a bible-thumping tobacco chewing immigrant-hating homophobic soulless Republican!!!" Shows just how hypocritical foids are, they want to have their cake & eat it.

The fact she also felt she was sort of "educating" him and "- showing him the correct views!" Proves this theory myself & others support:
