Florida's Republican Governor Ron DeSantis has signed a bill banning most abortions after six weeks, paving the way for drastic changes in access to the procedure across the state.

Opponents argue six weeks is before many women know they are pregnant.

My comments: Florida has 22.2 million people, so this is a good step.

Im Pro-Abortion because it reduces suffering.

bye bye hookup culture, bye bye slut culture, its time to enslave all women, back them to the kitchen where they belong, making cookies, making babies

Ya and its a step at a time. One of the next fights is over the 'morning after pills'. Which if they cause abortions and abortions are illegal from day 1, then they are illegal under those laws.

Then its onto the abortion pills. Which because conceptions still happen sometimes on those drugs, but then the fertilized eggs can't stick to the uterus wall, that would then be illegal. So then its a step by step restricting access to birth control pills.

With the morning after abortion pills, what the latest ruling is they can't be sold by telehealth. They have to be prescribed at a doctors visit or at a hospital. So where something can't yet be banned politically, can more hoops be put in place to make it more inconvenient to get. Also the costs, making it not covered on insurance plans.

I believe in abortion...kick her in the stomach, then push her down a flight of stairs.

...and for the record both sides of the aisle HATE SEX. Can we all agree on that?? The left because it objectifies women. The right because it goes against the bible and they prefer their women in the kitchen, barefoot and preggers.

Foids will just go to another state it needs to be banned nation wide for it to have any effect

There are some things that make that difficult. These states are huge so its quite a journey to travel to another state. Like time off work, air travel, taxis, staying at a hotel. Then the other states don't cover medical expenses for people out of state. So it can be a large amount of money for the abortion, as medical expenses are insanely expensive in America when paying outside of an insurance plan. Then young women often don't have much money. The woman would also have to organize all that.

Granted rich liberal women can just travel to another state and get an abortion. And some cities are near to other states where it might be legal, then much easier to pay for it and organize it.

Down the road states can go after women who commit murder, even if they commit the murder out of state.

Ya that is true. In a liberal utopia everybody is sexless like in the dystopian science fiction movies. And in the right wing utopia people only have sex to make a pregnancy.

I'm only in favor of abortion as long as it involves a procedure that kills the mother too. Tit for tat.
