Seiko is awesome. And they make shitload of different watches, most if them are quite affordable.

Watch brand mainly depends on type of watch you like.

Now these companies continue making this style of watch (called B-Uhr). Laco and Stowa are solid mid-thread watches with swiss/Japanese movements depending on model. While IWC is high-end with in-house movements. I like IWC, but price is just ridiculous This costs $13k. So I wear Seiko

Could be cheaper alternative to navitimer. Overall sinn is good brand. But lately tgey were forces to switch away from ETA movements, so noone know how reliable their new movements are. Selitta is said to ve ok though.
