Anyone else do this. I spend a lot of time on each screen trying things thinking of the most cowardly ideas.

@tehgymcel420 moment of incel training can’t beat chad reflexes

Eg..I find great places to level up, then level up all the way so I am level 8 doing level 4 areas.

Trucels play strategy games, which require autistic analysis over speed and reflexes.

I also memorize where all the health refills are. So I run all the way back through levels to get them.

This + save estates. I memorize the location of every collectible in the game and save after every boss fight. I've been able to beat pretty much every NES/SNES game this way.

I found out on one game that if you go into the dungeon and kill monsters then go out of the dungeon they don't respawn. So after getting injured i go out of the dungeon and to a place in the forest where the monsters are easy as I have the pattern and they drop health refills every like 30 monsters. Then I go back in the dungeon.

Good idea I guess I do one non-cowardly thing I don't use save states. Even when training and learning I'm trying to not use them for authenticity.

I do them so I don't have to do everything from the the start again if I fuck up at one point. :feelsLSD:

Sometimes when i play Dark Souls i sit back for a moment and study the layout of the area, and the paths the AI take. And think about what i got in my inventory. Better to do that than rush in and die.

Over for NEScels

No. But I'm sure depression and constant rejection from "friends" or peers and foids does make the reflexes slower due to the fact the brain is distracted all the time.

bc of this reason i love static sports like arm wrestling instead of boxing

I used to cheat so much in singleplayer games because I was too shit

A lot of people used glitches and exploits and stuff back in the day with NES games to beat them. Magazines and strategy guides openly endorsed these practices, unless you're using a Game Genie or something along those lines. I think I have only ever beat a couple of my NES games out of my library of 27(?) or so, they are hardcore.

I use save states to get through and experience tons of games a hell of a lot quicker. I remember not being able to save in the early '90s: I've done my time stressing out with that shit.

Turbo buttons, changing emulation speed, save states, game genie
