Its debatable tbh in the case of 7 and 10. Tidus and Cloud doesnt look any more white than Tifa and Yuna. Both names Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart are western names, i think in the original idea both were white, due to American movies influence. Tifa grew up in Western looking city, with all the cowboy outfit. They only changed her to be more asian in the remake and the movie in which everyone looked asian.

You can see the original portraits, only Yuffie Kisaragi looks Asian, she has asian name and comes from a ninja village.

While Tidus and Yuna both looked Asian on cgi and less asian in game characters. Both look japanese as fuck.
