idk how to explain but films aren’t really cinema anymore you never get to actually appreciate the backgrounds of films anymore and be in awe of a films setting I think the hobbit films were the last films where I actually got lost and immersed in the setting even though the hobbit trilogy wasn’t as good as the LOTR trilogy maybe it’s because of slop green screens and CGI
