Nowadays I seem to get disgusted and drop whatever it is that I am watching or reading as soon as a love interest shows up and it seems like a happy-go-lucky scenario, not to mention cases with harem. It has been ruining my copes.

Am I too fucked up? Does anyone else deal with it?

Trust me, it can get worse. I've read a not insignificant amount of 'chick-lit' as research when I was a teenager.

To be honest the romance in those books is Twilight tier with similiar archetypes even. Twilight might be even better than some of them lol.

If you've ever watched an incel fantasy romance anime, where the protagonist is a literal npc who is drowning in pussy, foid literature is often the same.

One Piece, Black Lagoon and BLAME! Are the only Anime I can enjoy without actively wanting to kill myself.

Since besides Sanji, no one in One Piece cares about sex or romance.

In Black Lagoon the only character that is shown getting pussy is the nerd computer guy, and later on the Protagonist gets a temporary waifu, but that's it...

And BLAME! Is just something else...
