it’s sad but after taking a few gender violence classes for my major i’m pretty much numb to internet misogyny, which is why i decided to wade through the muck on incels.is. it was so interesting i actually took some notes.

also i know that this is going to piss off a decent quantity of my followers, but the parallels between the site and subreddits like FDS and the worst parts of radfem tumblr and twitter are undeniable. the only marked difference is that FDS/radfems perception of men is usually based off violent traumatic experiences whereas incels perceive a lack of attention from women as outright violence and oppression

While shitposts which glorify extremities within the forum are often at times absurd and uncalled for, the difference is that many of these are written by semi-ironic shitposters and shut ins who, due to lack of ability from mental health issues, are unable to enact their visions in the real world on a grand scale. Feminists, on the other hand, are usually quite serious in their indevers and have full capability in spreading their harmful ideologies, thanks to the enablement & biased policies which many major tech platforms exhibit. Misandry is wrongfully allowed to have a chance to embed itself in cultures due to widespread dismissal of its maliciousness, making it easier than ever for it to inflict damage upon society, with the result being potentially irreversible in the long run.

Another difference is that this is a place of venting and fellowship, we know that our views unfortunately wont be accepted or implemented by mainstream society.

While theirs are places of planning, they have esnared public life and continue to pressure it to implement their policies on society at large, which they are sucessful at.
