Sexual reproduction:
- Unnecessarily complicated mating ritual which does not always match the persons with the best genetics
- Results of the mating are not guaranteed to be optimal; genetic recombination is a bitch
- Many things can go wrong during fetal development; suboptimal hormone levels, developmental disorders can occur due to failed genetic recombination and the mother consuming drugs, alcohol, wrong medicines, environmental factors, hormones and chemicals in the mothers food and water and so on.
- Other threats such as miscarriages, umbilical cord strangulation during birth, physical threats
- Risks to the mothers health during birth, such as internal bleeding
- Pregnancy reduces productivity and requires a lot of resources
- Limited reproductive capability as women can only have one child at a time, or at the most 2-3 kids if they are twins, triplets
Asexual reproduction (artificial wombs, genetic engineering):
- No mating ritual, the persons with optimal genetics can be selected from a DNA database, also ensuring no accidental inbreeding etc.
- Genetic recombination could be managed and directed through genetic engineering, ensuring desired genes are included, removing genes that can cause developmental disorders and so on
- More secure fetal development, ensuring optimal levels of nutrients and hormones, filtering all undesired environmental variables like chemicals, phytoestrogens, pollutants etc.
- Zero to limited threats of miscarriage, birth strangulation or physical threats
- No risks to other humans, such as internal bleeding during birth
- Large breeding facilities can be managed by only a few humans and some robots, increasing productivity and/or leisure time of the human workforce
- Increased reproductive capability, more wombs can be built in factories, embryos can be created from skin cells and sperm
It's over for women.
