Been there, done that. They simply don't care about you at all. You have to be attractive to them in order to even be a "friend".

I tried man, i tried getting to know them first and all that BS. The end result? I had to carry convos and they were boring as hell. They never checked up on me if i didn't talk first and asked for things.
