Venting Favouritism from teacher

When I was 11, in school, once every year everyone would do a lap around the field and the best runners would get chosen to compete for the school. Despite always finishing in the top three I was never chosen.

In year 5 I finished second and the people that were chosen to compete for the school based on that race was the person who finished 1st, 3rd and 4th...

I only was the teacher's favorite back when I was 6-7 years old because I was so abnormally retarded that my dumb af actions would put a smile on her face.
