Don't play many jrpgs but I always liked Pokemon, and I played persona 5.

FF8 (7 is good too, 1 and 10 decent)
SMT 3 Nocturne
Souls games/Bloodborne (if you consider these JRPGs, DS1 is best, all are good except DS2)
