I bought FO3 and FO:NV with all DLCs for cheap during latest steam sale. Played FO3 for like 13h, got to the middle of main questline and then ditched it.
-shooting sucks, everything is a bullet sponge but you have hard time obtaining ammo and enemy loot is trash which sucks out any fun out of random encounters, VATS looks fun but it's janky as hell and useless for many weapons
-moving around map sucks, there is no sprint button so you are moving at snails pace, towns and "dungeons" are needlessly hard to navigate, entire DC is designed in such a way that sometimes you have to go through 3 different metro stations to reach something that is almost overby on map
-dialogues are stupid, moral choices are dumb, NPCs are dull and often unlikeable, quests feel like something out of MMO and are full of padding

The only positive thing that I can say about this game is that it has huge map with many different locations and lots of different enemies and weapons so there might be fun game down there somewhere if you mod the shit out of it, but I can't be arsed to spend time modding something that I don't even feel like playing through once.

I hope New Vegas is better.

Really? I thought the DLCs for FNV ranged from boring to terrible (the one with the exploding collars being the worst). They also put a level cap into the original game so people who wanted to go beyond lvl 20 had to buy those DLCs which was a major jewish move, a lot of people seem to have forgotten that even their precious "Bethesda" was doing this scummy shit in a time where micro-transactions and DLC were still frowned upon (unlike now where every zoomer blindly buys this retard-shit because they don't now any better).

New vegas is the best thing ever released by Bethesda, because it wasn't made by Bethesda but Obsidian.

Obsidian is nowadays typical woke gay trash, but back then they'd have people working on NV that also worked on the OG Fallouts.

NV is the real Fallout 3 so to speak. It has many references to the original titles.

In the end New Vegas as a whole looks like it's been nuked or absolutely destroyed. Camp Mcarren doesn't even exist anymore, and the NCR is wiped, same as legion.

Mr House is a liar and an idiotic one at that. In NV he tells the courier he tried to save Vegas, but because the Platinum chip hadn't arrived, he could only save the inner city somewhat.

In the show he himself with his evil friends nuked America because apparently nuking America and killing their customers will increase their profits. It completely ruins his character.
