Last night at the gym I was talking to this old guy and then we separated to workout. I walked by him 20 minutes later and didn’t know what to do so I just tried to avoid eye contact.

I’m not advocating anything or saying much is going to change if I were to behave differently, I’m just genuinely confused about the proper protocol in these social situations.
