This is true. IQ is a good measure of mental ability, but it doesn't tell you everything and shouldn't be used as an absolute perfect measure.

Voluntary response bias, it's a pretty common issue in survey design and research.

Just because all the responses are above average doesn't mean that anyone is lying, it's because users who scored below average don't want to divulge their scores, so the only users who answered are the ones who did well.
